3. The Virtual Portfolio is simulated — no real money, ever

The Virtual Portfolio feature is a learning simulation. The starting balance is fictional play-money, "orders" are recorded against real end-of-day closing prices purely to make the exercise realistic, and no real trade is ever placed with any exchange, broker or counterparty. Nothing about your simulated performance — gains, losses, or leaderboard position — reflects real money and none of it can be withdrawn.

4. Data sources and their limits

Market data is sourced from official public feeds — the BSE equity bhavcopy, the NSE index closing file, and AMFI's daily NAV file for mutual funds — and imported once daily after market close. It is end-of-day data, not a live quote. There can be gaps, delays, or occasional errors in any data pipeline; do not rely on figures shown here for time-sensitive or real-money decisions. Where a data source is temporarily unavailable, the affected figures are left blank rather than estimated — we do not invent numbers to fill a gap.

5. Past performance

Any historical return, NAV change, or index movement shown on this site is a statement about the past. It is not, and must never be read as, an indication or guarantee of future performance. Mutual fund investments and equity markets are subject to market risk; read all scheme-related documents carefully before investing in any real fund.
